WELCOME TO THE HOME OF WEBSTER GROVES SOCCER CLUB.

You have reached the home of the WEBSTER GROVES SOCCER CLUB. Founded in 2005, the club consists of six teams: U-8, U-9, U-10, U-11, U-12, and U-13 boys teams. The club was founded on the premise that by building on the rich soccer tradition in the Webster Groves area, young athletes can learn the game and play it at a high level, while building community spirit and tradition.

Founded by Tim Cashel, head coach of the Webster Groves High School varsity boys team, the club is also unique in that it is designed to wrap around the CYC season, allowing players to compete both on CYC parish teams while still continuing their soccer development with WGSC.

The club's inaugural season, 2005-2006, was an undisputed success for its original two teams; the U12 team won its SLYSA league with a 9-0-1 record (W-L-T) and the U8 team won five of its last six games in a very competitve league to finish at 6-4-0.  The 2006-2007 campaign was no less productive as the club's four teams combined for a 19-8-7 record and gathered two SLYSA league championships.  The 2007-2008 season saw five teams participating with the teams combining for a 27-8-5 record in the spring SLYSA season. The 2008-2009 season again provided plenty of success stories as the teams went  24-7-11 with three "top of the table" finishes (U9, U11, and U13); the U9s and U13s tied for their league championships while the U11s were crowned SLYSA U11 Division 1 champions outright. The 2009-2010 season produced another typically successful season with the two more league titles (U12 and U11) and a cumulative record of 34-16-17. Last year all six WGSC teams competed in SLYSA's Division I with the U13s collecting yet another league championship and reaching the semi-final of MO State Cup! In the club's six-year history, WGSC teams have accumulated a record of 142-67-45 in SLYSA league play! Additionally, teams have produced both indoor league, futsal league, and outdoor tournament championships in the club's short history.
